Local law enforcement agencies round up parole and probation violators

Local law enforcement didn’t take the day off Saturday, Feb. 28. Members of the Kings County Gang Task Force, with the assistance of the Lemoore Police Department, Hanford Police Department, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Special Services Unit (Fresno), Kings County Sheriff's Department, Kings County Probation Department, California State Parole Office, and the Kings County Narcotics Task Force, conducted parole and probation compliance checks within the city of Lemoore.

Thirty law-enforcement officers from the various departments conducted 20 compliance checks at various residences within the city of Lemoore, and as a result of these compliance checks, arrested and booked into the Kings County the following: Jail Jose Flores, Aaron Guillen, a felon in possession of ammunition and gang enhancement, and Francisco Gutierrez, on a warrant for vehicle theft, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

All three, according to police, are active Norteno gang members.
