Facebook post key to arrest of auto shop burglary suspect

With the help of Facebook, Kings County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a suspect in a burglary of a local automotive shop. On March 1, Kings County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to LK Automotive located at 955 D Street in Lemoore in regards to a burglary investigation.

The shop owner was able to inform the deputy that his shop was broken into several days ago and several items, including expensive tools for working on diesel engines, had been stolen.  Several customers' vehicles parked within the shop compound had been broken into.

The shop owner informed the deputy that a subject identified as Brock Kincaid had contacted one of his workers by Facebook and was attempting to sell some of the stolen items to him.  Kincaid did not know the subject he contacted to sell the stolen items was actually an employee of the business that had been victimized.

Kings County Sheriff's Office Deputies were able to set-up a sting operation.  During the operation the suspect, Brock Kincaid, was arrested and property valued at over $3,000 was recovered.  Kincaid was located at a hotel near the location of the shop.  All the items were located within the hotel room.

Kincaid was booked into the Kings County Jail.
