Tiger boys' tennis drops match to Redwood, plays well in tourney

Lemoore lost to Redwood in league play Monday 2-7 despite a pair of wins from second singles player Mike Sinaga and the doubles duo of Sinaga and Luke Brown.

Lemoore also played in the California Tennis Classic over the weekend in Fresno taking third out of 16 teams in its division. In the opening matches on Friday, the Tigers beat Edison in a close match up, beat Los Banos, and then edged Garces. 

The Tigers won their pool and on Saturday lost to Bishop Dowd 53-52, which put them into the consolation bracket against West Bakersfield. The Tigers beat West 5-1. Lemoore got strong play from Christian Garcia and Christian Czerewko, who did not lost a match in the tourney.
