Lemoore Police join forces with Kings County agencies in probation checks

The Lemoore Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Team, working in conjunction with the Kings County Probation Department, Kings County Gang Task Force, and the Kings County Sheriff's Department, on June 6, conducted probation compliance checks within the City of Lemoore.

The goal of this operation was to ensure that subjects on probation were abiding by the conditions set forth by the court. Those subjects contacted during the sweep were primarily drug and gang offenders.

Over 35 locations were targeted for compliance checks and searches. While most subjects were in compliance with their conditions, several arrests were made for various charges. The subjects arrested are as follows:

-Stephanie Garcia (age 30) of Lemoore for possession of a controlled substance (cited on scene)

-Michael Drummond (age 57) of Lemoore for possession of a controlled substance (cited on scene)

-John Cano (age 21) of Lemoore for probation violation (bail: no bail flash PRCS incarceration)

-Jasmine Torres (age 23) of Lemoore for felony child endangerment (bail: $50,000)

-Roy Hamblin (age 67) of Lemoore for possession of drug paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance (bail: $10,000)

-Jose Pimentel (age 35) of Lemoore for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (bail: 10,000)

- Lorena Trevino (age 39) of Lemoore for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance (bail: $15,000)

-Teisha Couch (age 40) of Lemoore for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance (bail: $20,000)

-Jesse Jimenez (age 19) of Lemoore was cited for an active petty theft warrant out of Kings County Court (bail: $10,000)

Additionally, three children were removed from homes for unsafe living conditions which were discovered during the searches. Social Workers from Kings County Child Protective Services were on scene at the time and were able to assist in the removal of the children. Several charges were submitted against the guardians in those cases.
