Memorial Service set for Brant Hubanks at Lemoore Presbyterian Church July 25

Brant Dennis Hubanks, 74, passed away on Monday, June 29th, 2015 at his home in Lemoore, California surrounded by his loving family. Brant was born on January 18, 1941 to Harry and Jewel Hubanks in Hanford, California and was the youngest of four children.

He attended Lemoore area schools and graduated from Lemoore High School in 1959. Brant enlisted in the United States Army and served for two years. Upon his return, he began working at Armstrong Tire Company. Shortly thereafter, he met his loving wife, Lois and had two children, Dennis and Mandy. Brant retired in 2002 to spend more time with family and pursue hobbies.

Brant had a love for family, a healthy lifestyle, woodworking, keeping up his yard, and helping others. He could often be found walking in the Coalinga hills, watering or mowing his lawn, or juicing some type of concoction that he had heard about or made up. Brant never met a stranger and would drop whatever he was doing to help someone out. He will be best remembered for his kindness, generosity, and easy demeanor.

Brant is survived by his loving wife, Lois; sister, Patricia Crabtree; son, Dennis (Monica), daughter, Mandy (Tom); three grandchildren, Maya, Liana, and Thomas and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ron and Harry.
