West Hills College Coalinga freshman Alejandro Avalos recently came out on top as a member of the first place team at an Apps for Ag Hackathon hosted at UC Davis. The Lady Golden Eagles took a small step backward in Thursday night's Santa Ana College Tournament opener as the talented-basketball team dropped a close 80-76 decision to San Bernardino. The West Hills College Coalinga Falcons, who recently finished out their season with an overall 9-2 record, an undefeated 6-0 in conference record, and as the League champions earned several awards for players and staff.
