The Tigers dropped the first set in overtime, a 26-24 thriller, but rebounded in the second, winning 25-19. They then went up 2-1 with a relatively easy 24-13 whitewashing of Tulare Union in the third set.
Tulare rebounded in the fourth with a 25-21 victory and capped it off with a thrilling 15-12 win in the fifth and final set.
Faith Wyatt led the Tigers with 14 kills followed by Bailey Kerby’s 8 kills and Kele Weedman’s 7 kills. The Tigers’ next action is Tuesday, Sept. 15 at Sierra Pacific High School in Hanford. The Tigers had a scheduled game Friday against Hill High School of San Jose.
