Lemoore will be 7-2 overall headed into Friday night’s 7 p.m. game at Hanford. The Bullpups are 9-0 on the year including their own undefeated league campaign. However, it hasn’t been as easy for the Bullpups, who no doubt will be considered by most observers as the underdog Friday night.
Allen Perryman finally got things going for the Tigers late in the first half when he took a handoff on an end-around and scampered 69 yards for a 7-0 lead.
Moments later Lemoore’s defense, which has limited its WYL opponents to just 19 total points, blocked an El Diamante punt and scored on a Logan Ahlin 5-yard run.
Lemoore made it 21-0, still in the first half, when Lemoore’s special teams caused a fumble on the kickoff. Ahlin hit Perryman in the end zone from 6 yards out for a 21-0 halftime lead.
In the third quarter Roger Wilson returned a punt 40 yards for a touchdown and a 28-0 lead. Perryman scored his third TD on a 9-yard TD pass from Ahlin.
