Lemoore arrest Visalia man for criminal threats, robbery, resisting arrest

Lemoore police on Thursday, November 19, arrested and charged a Visalia man with robbery, criminal threats, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer after the man got into a fight with an Ivanhoe female he met at the Tachi Palace and Casino.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. Lemoore police officers were dispatched to 19th Avenue and Tammy Lane in regards to a physical fight between a man and a woman who were inside a vehicle parked on the street.

Upon arriving in the area, officers contacted the victim, a 30-year-old female from Ivanhoe. The female had some minor injuries as a result of this fight. She told officers that she had been at the Tachi Palace and Casino with the male suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Aaron Martin Linsley of Visalia.

They left together and then began to argue because she refused to take him to Three Rivers. Linsley threatened to kill the victim if she did not take him to Three Rivers. She had driven to Lemoore but got lost. She tried to pull over a couple of times but Linsley kept grabbing the steering wheel and telling her to take him to Three Rivers.

She was able to pull over and Linsley then began hitting her head numerous times. The victim picked up her phone to call police and Linsley bit her finger and tried to take the phone away from her. The victim then hit Linsley numerous times in the face in an attempt to get him to stop biting her.

Linsley eventually stopped biting her and grabbed her keys, which were in a cup holder in the center console. She grabbed her computer tablet so he would not take it but he grabbed that from her, got out of the car, and walked away.

Linsley was located by officers in the area and had sustained serious facial injuries during this incident. Officers tried to detain him but he resisted them. The officers were able to take him into custody and he was subsequently transported to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford for treatment of his injuries. While at the hospital, Linsley continued to be combative and kicked one of the officers in the knee. The officer did not seek medical attention.

Linsley was booked into the Kings County Jail for robbery, criminal threats, battery on a police officer, simple battery, resisting and/or delaying an officer, and damaging or destroying a phone or other device to prevent someone from calling for aid. His bail was set at $135.000.00.
