It’s official, Lemoore’s newest business, Grocery Outlet, plans to open its doors to the public on Aug. 29, becoming the city’s third major grocery store, behind longtime businesses Save Mart and Best Buy Market. Keep reading...

A Grocery Outlet spokesperson confirmed that the chain will open a new market in the Gateway Plaza Shopping Center (formerly Pioneer Square). The Grocery Outlet shown in the photo is located in Hanford and is one of more than 300 stores nationwide.

While they haven't set a specific date, Grocery Outlet officials told The Leader that Lemoore's new store, located at Gateway Plaza (formerly Pioneer Square) is expected to open in late summer or early fall. Lemoore's varsity baseball team and its fans celebrated its annual Military Appreciation Night with a big win over visiting Kerman. The Tigers needed ten innings to improve their overall record. The Tigers evened their overall record to 6-6 when they defeated visiting Kingsburg 2-1.
