Lady Tigers take impressive 9-4 record into WYL campaign

The Lemoore girls’ basketball team is off to an impressive start, including notching themselves an early win in the West Yosemite League with a 68-38 thrashing of Hanford West. The Lady Tigers return to the WYL fold when they host visiting Redwood High on Thursday night in the LHS Event Center. Game time is 7 p.m.

Lemoore will take its 9-4 overall record into a non-league game Tuesday night against Dinuba in the Event Center.

After losing to Edison High 59-26 in the Hoover Holiday Classic on Dec. 9, Lemoore put together a 7-game winning streak until losing to Buena High in the opening round of the Arvin Holiday Classic semi-final.

The Tigers beat Delano in one of the games 64-44 and lost to powerful Bakersfield 50-33.
