It’s back to business Tuesday as Lemoore’s varsity boys’ basketball team, following an impressive 11-2 pre-season, continues its quest for a third straight West Yosemite League championship as Coach Joel Sligh’s talented hoopsters take on Mt. Whitney at home Tuesday night. The Tigers improved to 2-0 Thursday night, beating Redwood High 84-54.

Lemoore already has an impressive 88-62 win over Hanford West (14-4 overall) in December, and on Tuesday ended its non-league effort with a convincing 72-64 effort over Clovis North. The Tigers with Thursday's win are 13-2 overall and 2-0 in league. The Pioneers are 0-2 in the WYL and 5-11 overall.
