Tiger boys' tennis in close contest in early action

Lemoore High boys’ tennis beat Sierra Pacific in a nail biter Monday night in early-season high school tennis action.

The Tigers were down 2-4 after singles play with wins from No.1 player Mike Sinaga who beat Mitchell Miya 8-5 and No. 2 Drew Gobby who outlasted J.C. Roa 8-6.

Sinaga and Arnold Cabuhat went on to win their doubles match 8-5, while Gobby and Adrian Zamora won their doubles match 8-3.  That tied the teams at 4 each. 

It all came down to the doubles team of Mitchell Foote and Cha Cho Martinez who won in a tie breaker 8-7 (10-7) to give LHS the exciting 5-4 win.  Lemoore's next match is Thursday at Tulare Union.
