Tiger baseball improves to 3-1, beat Kingsburg 5-0

Lemoore’s varsity baseball team improved to 3-1 on the season with a convincing 5-0 win over visiting Kingsburg on Wednesday (March 2). Austin Murietta pitched a gem for the Tigers, tossing 5 innings of no-hit ball before leaving the rest to Jake Hansen, who didn’t allow a hit either.

Chandler Grzybicki went 2 for 3 in the game with an RBI. Lemoore scored three runs in the third and runs in the fourth and fifth innings for the final score. Murietta also had a hit as did A.J. Bow, Steven Allison, Jared Holaday, and Robbie Senior.

The Tigers will play Selma on Saturday at 3 p.m.
