Tiger softball drops 6-0 decision to Clovis East

Lemoore’s varsity girls’ softball team fell to 6-6 on the season after a visit to Clovis East High School on Monday, in which the Tigers dropped a 6-0 decision. Lemoore plays again Thursday in Lemoore against visiting Liberty High School. Game time is 4 p.m.

On Monday, the Tigers were limited to just one hit by Clovis East pitcher Tara Felder. Felder also struck out eight Lemoore batters and walked just two. Once again Britney Antuna pitched a solid game, giving up eight hits and striking out three.

Alyssa Vazquest had the lone hit for the Tigers.
