Tigers suffer home loss as they prepare for Saturday's Clovis Easter Tournament

Despite putting together six hits, including a pair of singles from Megan Ambriz, Lemoore’s varsity softball team dropped a non-league game to Liberty High School 5-2. Once again Britney Antuna went the distance, giving up single runs in the first, third, fourth, sixth and seventh innings.

The Tigers scored runs in the second and final inning. Also collecting hits were Katelyn Cole, Alyssa Vazquez, Madison Wallace and Jessica Hurd. Lemoore fell to 6-7 on the season.

The Tigers open their annual Easter softball hunt with another appearance in the Clovis Easter Softball Classic where they will open on Saturday with a game against Central High School. Game time is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
