The Lemoore Police Department Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team working in conjunction with the Kings County Probation Department, Kings County Gang Task Force, Hanford Police Departments POP team, and the Kings County Sheriff's Department on Saturday, April 2, conducted probation compliance checks within the City of Lemoore.

The goal of this operation was to ensure subjects on probation were abiding by the conditions set forth by the court. Those subjects contacted during the sweep were primarily drug and gang offenders.

Over 25 locations were targeted for compliance checks and searches and while most subjects were in compliance with their conditions, several arrests were made for various charges. The subjects arrested are as follows:

  • Enrique Ramos Ortega (09/04/1992) of Lemoore was arrested for violation of Post Release Community Supervision Terms.
  • Gregory Ryan (04/16/1961) of Lemoore was cited for possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

During the searches several items related to the use and ingested of narcotics were located, confiscated, and ultimately destroyed.

Additionally, one location was evaluated by Social workers from Child Protective services for living conditions and wellness of the child on scene.
