Lemoore Police seek pair suspected of possible gang-related stabbing

Lemoore Police are investigating a possible gang-related stabbing incident that which occurred early Wednesday morning (April 27) at about 1:20 a.m. near downtown Lemoore.

Police officers were dispatched to Micky's Bar & Grill, located at 230 Fox St., regarding a male victim who had apparently suffered stab wounds.

Upon arrival, the officers located the victim sitting outside of the bar, and during an investigation determined that the victim had been in the area of Heinlen and G streets, when he was approached by two males.

The victim told police that he was involved in a physical fight with the two men. During the altercation, the victim said he was stabbed twice, once in the neck and once in the back.

The victim then said he ran to the local bar, where he asked several patrons for help. The victim was subsequently transported to theCommunityRegionalMedicalCenterinFresnoby an ambulance.

Detectives suspect the stabbing to be gang-related. The Kings County Gang Task Force has been called to help in the investigation.  One suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, last seen wearing a Dallas Cowboys hat, having long hair, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
