Tigers split with Bullpups in final two games; softball drops two in WYL action
Hanford turned the tide on Thursday night, beating the Tigers in Hanford 2-1.

Jared Holaday, Robbie Senior and Jack Foote each connected for the Tigers to get on base in Tuesday’s win. The Tigers improved to 14-11 overall after Thursday’s 2016 finale and are now 4-8 in the West Yosemite League.
Hanford is in danger of missing the playoffs, dropping to 14-14 on the season and 3-9 in league play. Mt. Whitney clinched the league title with a superb 10-1 mark entering the final week of WYL action.
In Thursday’s game Holiday drove home the Tigers’ only run in the fourth inning. A.J. Bowe, Bristol Hitchman and Austin Murrieta each had a hit for Lemoore.
In softball action, the Tigers dropped their final two season games, a 5-3 loss to Golden West Tuesday afternoon and a 3-2 loss to Hanford on Thursday in Lemoore.
For the Tigers Davani Ballor had a pair of hits and an RBI for Lemoore as the Tigers fell to 9-19 on the year and 2-9 in the WYL.
