Lemoore Police arrest suspicious persons on drug charges, parole violations

Also arrested were Braxton Jackson, 20, on suspicion of violating his probation, and Bernadette Faubion, 48, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamines, paraphernalia, and probation violation.

On Tuesday, May 17 at about 9 a.m., Lemoore officers were dispatched to the area of East Bush Street and Locust Street regarding two males that were observed looking into vehicles.

Officers arrived on scene and found subjects matching the description on Walnut St. which is near the area of the original call for service. The first officer on scene contacted a male identified as Ignacio Garcia, along with an additional male and female. Garcia attempted to flee into a residence. The officer followed and detained the suspect. Garcia resisted the officer and a struggle ensued. During the struggle Garcia attempted to throw away a small amount of methamphetamine and meth smoking pipes, in an apparent attempt to hide the contraband.

Officers were able to subdue Garcia without anyone being injured. A second male, also seen observed looking into vehicles, jumped the back yard fence of the residence on Walnut Street and attempted to leave the scene via the alley.

Officers were in the process of setting up a perimeter on the scene and found the male. He was identified as Braxton Jackson who was detained and later arrested. The female was identified as Bernadette Faubion and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. All three subjects were on probation out ofKingsCounty.

Garcia was arrested for resisting and obstructing a police officer, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a violation of probation. Jackson was arrested for being in violation of his probation.

Faubion was arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine, being in possession of drug paraphernalia, and for being in violation of probation.
