Kings Deputies discover body after responding to call of burning vehicle

Kings County Sheriff’s deputies, after responding to a vehicle fire Sunday night (June 5), found a dead body in the burned car. Deputies immediately called detectives to investigate the mysterious incident. The body was discovered at about 11:40 p.m. Sunday night in the area of 1st Avenue, south of Houston Ave.

Upon arrival, a 1999 Dodge utility vehicle was located and found to be burned. It was inside the vehicle that the body was found.

The identity of the subject inside the vehicle has yet to be determined, and it is believed the fire was intentionally set. Further information will be release as this case starts to develop.
