Isaiah Martinez returns to Lemoore for a wrestling camp Aug. 13 and 14.

Two-time NCAA wrestling champion and former Lemoore High School Tiger state champ Isaiah Martinez will be in town on August 13 and 14 for a wrestling camp, hosted by the Lemoore Wrestling Boosters and Tiger Coach Marcio Botelho.

The camp will be limited to 100 wrestlers and will be held at the Lemoore Recreation Center both days from 7 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m. Registration begins at 7 a.m. on Aug. 13.

The cost is $75 per wrestler. To reserve a spot in the camp email Coach Botelho at botelhoclan@hotmail.com or call him at 559-381-7154.

Martinez is one of the top wrestlers ever to come out of California, no less Lemoore. The talented wrestler has won five straight titles – three California state titles and now two straight NCAA championships in Division I wrestling. Martinez wrestles for the University of Illinois.

His last title came in Madison Square Garden in March when he avenged the only defeat of his college career when he beat Penn State’s Jason Nolf to win the title.
