Tiger water polo begin West Yosemite League action Wednesday

Lemoore’s boys’ and girls’ water polo teams will begin West Yosemite League competition beginning Wednesday, Sept. 14.  Both programs tune up with a trip to Monache High School on Tuesday, Sept. 13. The varsity girls play at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday while the boys begin at 6:30 p.m. in the LHS pool.

The Lemoore ladies are 1-2 going into Tuesday’s Monache match, beating Sierra Pacific 14-7, and losing to Kingsburg and Reedley in non-league action.

The boys had a 5-1 record. Their latest official loss a 9-7 loss at Edison on Saturday in the Fresno Varsity Water Polo Tournament. The Tigers beat Sierra High School in the tourney opener on Friday. The Tigers won 10-1. Lemoore also defeated Hoover High School 11-10.
