Lemoore's boys' water polo team wins twice in Hanford

Lemoore’s boys’ water polo team came up with a pair of key victories this week, the Tigers beating Hanford on Wednesday night in the Bullpups’ pool 21-12 and then on Thursday, getting past Hanford West by a 9-6 score.

Lemoore improved to 3-4 in the West Yosemite League and are currently 11-9 overall.

Lemoore’s boys’ and girls’ will host Redwood High School on Oct. 13 in another WYL matchup.

The Lemoore ladies didn’t fare well, dropping both Hanford games. On Wednesday Lemoore fell to the Bullpups 9-2. On Thursday the Tigers put a scare into the Hanford West Huskies, but still wound up on the wrong side of a 14-13 decision.

The Lemoore girls are 0-7 in the WYL and 2-13 overall.
