Lemoore’s boys’ soccer team played West Yosemite League rival Redwood High School twice in less than a week. After holding the Rangers scoreless for most of Saturday’s game in the Lemoore Jim Inglis Soccer Tournament, the Tigers fell 1-0 thanks to a controversial penalty shot.

The Tigers, 6-6-2 overall, took on Redwood again in Visalia on Thursday, this time as a member of the WYL and again lost to the Rangers, this time a 4-3 decision at Mineral King Stadium. On Tuesday, the Tigers completed their preseason with a  7-4 loss to Lindsay High.
