A pair of Lemoore wrestlers helped propel the Tigers to a sixth-place finish in the prestigious 5 Counties tournament held Jan. 13-14 at Fountain Valley High School. Gary Joint and Angel Solis, potential state titlists, won their respective weight classes on Saturday.

It was a busy weekend for Tiger wrestling. The Lemoore ladies also fared well, taking first place in the weekend’s Sanger High Tournament.
