Lady Tiger hoopsters keep pace in West Yosemite League with win over Pioneers

The Lemoore boys’ basketball team continues its West Yosemite League woes. On Thursday, the Tigers, despite a 19-point fourth quarter, fell to Mt. Whitney 64-49. The loss dropped the Tigers to 2-7 in the WYL and 7-18 overall. Lemoore's ladies beat the Pioneers 43-34 to stay alive in the WYL.

The Tigers hope to get back on track when the travel to Visalia on Wednesday for a game at El Diamante.

The Lemoore girls’ squad will host El Diamante in the school’s Event Center on Wednesday. The Tigers improved to 5-4 in league play and 11-10 overall.

Tigers vs. Redwood

Lemoore’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams find themselves mired in fourth place in the West Yosemite League standings. Both teams dropped games to Redwood on Tuesday night. The boys fell to Redwood in a 69-57 loss in Visalia while the girls dropped a 57-34 contest to the Rangers in the Lemoore High School Event Center Tuesday night.

Lemoore’s boys fell to 2-6 in the WYL and 7-17 overall as the ladies fell to 4-4 in league play and 10-10 overall.

Lemoore’s girls faced Mt. Whitney tomorrow (Feb. 2) in Visalia while the boys host the Pioneers in a 7:30 p.m. game in the Event Center.
