On February 3, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a Lemoore police officer was conducting follow up into the investigation when he located a vehicle matching the description provided by a witness the night of the shooting. The vehicle was located on Pear Street in Lemoore.

During the course of the investigation, 20-year-old Jesus Richard Quair of Lemoore was identified as the person suspected of shooting a gun into the air on January 30. Quair was arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail for negligent discharge of a firearm.
