Student entrepreneurs pitch ideas to local business leaders
The 2016-17 Lemoore Young Entrepreneur’s Academy, a program developed by the Lemoore Chamber, will send the student entrepreneurs and their businesses before the panel on March 30 to pitch their unique business plans. Hopefully there may be some start-up funding available.
The panel is made up of local business owners who have invested their own money as sponsors of the event.

One of the students, Saylor Lopez, a junior at Lemoore Middle College High School, is launching a business entitled Loud Mouth Karaoke, a specially designed karaoke trailer available for patrons to rent for their events. Inside the trailer, a user will find everything needed to host a karaoke night. No needs to go out for Karaoke night when Loud Mouth Karaoke can bring the party to you.

Kevin Gong, a freshman at Lemoore Middle College High School, is launching 1 of 1 Outfitters, designed to help anyone with a cell phone, glasses or a camera. The idea is a microfiber cleaning cloth right at their fingertips, sewn directly into a t-shirt in a variety of patterns. It eliminates the need to carry around a cloth and reduces the risks of scratches.

Breanna Monsiviaz, a freshman at Lemoore Middle College High School, is developing a company called Giplo, a business offering a variety of adventure equipment. The first product is an expandable duffle bag. These bags will have expandable sides for those days when you need a little extra room for the items you’ve collected throughout the day. This product will save you time and money by eliminating the need for multiple-sized bags.

Hunter Nash, junior at Lemoore High School, is creating We Make Memories Entertainment, a one-stop shop for all your entertainment needs. Whether you are a venue looking for a band, a wedding planner looking for a photo booth, or a mom planning a birthday party looking for a clown, We Make Memories Entertainment will point you in the right direction.

Steven Gong, a senior at Lemoore Middle College High School, is launching Go Go Lunchbox, a healthy lunchbox delivery service. This is perfect for businesses who may want a healthy lunch but might not have time to step away from their desk. Go Go Lunchbox can bring a healthy lunch right to you, at a reasonable price.
Chamber officials are on the lookout for additional community and business leaders to participate on the Investor Panel, or as guess speakers, perhaps hosting field trips, and much more. Call Brittany Reece at the Chamber, 559-924-6401.
