Lemoore police investigate shots fired Sunday in Lemoore

By The Leader Staff
The Lemoore Police Department is asking for the public for help as they investigate a report of a fight and shots fired on Sunday, Feb. 12 at about 1:15 a.m. at an apartment complex on East Hanford Armona Rd.

When police arrived, witnesses said a bald Hispanic male had been yelling at someone or a group of people on the frontage road in front of the complex.

The male then went to a car, possibly a 4-door silver vehicle, reached in, and then shot a gun in the direction of the person or group of people.

Officers found bullet shell casings at the scene but were unable to locate any shooting victims. Officers contacted people who they believed were involved in the argument but they were uncooperative.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Lemoore Police Department at (559) 924-9574 or the Kings County Gang Task Force at (559) 852-2991.
