Tiger hoop squads end woeful season with losses to Bullpups in season finales

Lemoore’s basketball season ended abruptly Tuesday night as both teams failed to earn a spot in the Central Section playoffs. In Lemoore, the Lady Tigers, despite taking a first-quarter lead against Hanford, fell behind 43-31 as the fourth quarter began and ended up losing their final game 59-48.

Over in Hanford the boys fell to 2-10 in the WYL, dropping their finale 61-48. Overall the Tiger boys struggled to a 7-21 season.

The Lemoore girls finished at 5-7 in the WYL and were 11-13 overall.
