The game, according to Tiger Coach Dionne Ewing, was halted due to darkness after six innings. “We were right there with them for the first four innings,” said Ewing, “before we made some errors and it became contagious.”

MaxPreps 2017 Softball Schedule

The Tigers are coming off a disappointing 2016 campaign, one in which they finished 3-9 in the West Yosemite League and 10-19 overall.

Lemoore will see plenty of softball action before starting league play on March 22 with a game at Hanford West High School. The Tigers will begin tournament play with a game against San Joaquin Memorial beginning March 3 in the Edison Classic.

They’ll also play in the annual Bakersfield Invitational beginning March 9.
