Tigers with just two hits in 4-0 loss to visiting El Diamante; at Golden West Friday

Lemoore’s varsity girls’ softball team will attempt to get back on track Friday (Nov. 7) when it travels to Visalia for a 4:30 p.m. matchup with Golden West High School. The Tigers fell to 1-3 in the West Yosemite League after Wednesday’s disappointing 4-0 loss to El Diamante on Lemoore’s home field.

The Tigers scraped together just two hits as El Diamante’s Olivia Aquigam shut down the Tigers, striking out six along the way. Lemoore’s Nikki Antuna went the distance for Lemoore, giving up nine hits and striking out two.

Only Jordyn Antuna and Madison Wallace managed to get hits for the Tigers.

Antuna kept the Miners off track for most of the game, yielding the only four runs of the game in the sixth inning.
