Tigers baseball splits openers in Fresno Easter Classic

Lemoore’s varsity boys’ baseball team split its two opening games in the annual Fresno Easter Classic Monday beginning with an early morning loss to Sunnyside 3-0. The Tigers Were scheduled to play Sacramento’s Bradshaw Christian today (April 11) at 10 a.m. at Clovis East.

The Tigers second game on Monday was more favorable as they turned their fortunes around with a 6-3 win over Fresno High. Jack Foote led the Tigers with a pair of hits, including a double and RBI. He also scored twice in the game. Alex Sanchez turned in an impressive game, going 3 for 3 with a double and three RBI.
