Tigers drop two to Mt. Whitney, hope to return to winning ways Monday

Lemoore’s varsity baseball team will attempt to get back on track on Monday afternoon when it hosts Redwood High School in 4:30 p.m. game. The Tigers just dropped a pair of back-to-back games against Mt. Whitney, the latest loss coming in a 9-4 decision Friday on the Pioneers' home field. The Tigers dropped a 9-5 decision to the Pioneers on Wednesday in Lemoore.

Lemoore fell to 1-4 in the WYL and are 5-14 overall.

Despite the loss, the big hitter for the Tigers was Jerod Holaday who belted a two-run triple to keep the Tigers close in the first game against the Pioneers.
