Tigers send three golfers to Area Championships at Dinuba's Ridge Creek Course

Three Tiger golfers earned spots in Tuesday’s (May 9) Area Golf Championships after turning in impressive scores at the May 4 West Yosemite League tournament held at Visalia’s Valley Oaks Golf Course.

Nolan Pedersen fired an impressive one-over 73 to lead the Tigers and finish second overall. The top golfer last week was Hanford’s Lane Pulliam, who turned in an even-par 72. The Bullpups took the team title.

Lemoore finished third in the seven-team field posting an overall score of 457. Joining Pedersen in the Area Tourney at Dinuba’s Ridge Creek Golf Course are Cory DeRaad with an 81 and Connor DeBurger, who fired an 83 on the 18-hole course.
