Lemoore’s Noah Wright and his fellow West All Stars held on to beat the East All Stars in Saturday night’s 50th annual Tulare-Kings All-Star football game at Visalia’s Community Stadium on the campus of Golden West High School. The game was sponsored once again by the Lemoore Kiwanis Club.

The West team, featuring Lemoore and Hanford players, won 14-13, but only after the West survived a late fourth quarter scare that had the East nearly win in the final seconds but fell short inside the West’s five-yard line as time ran out.

Mission Oak’s Keon Jefferson scored the go-ahead touchdown for just minutes to play for the West. Tulare Western’s Andre Aguilar earned West MVP honors.

The West’s team consisted of Lemoore’s Wright and Jimmie Jeff as well as Hanford players Chris Cano, Will Pepe, Andrew Gomez, Mitchell Hunt and Shane Hernandez.
