Lemoore water polo win some, lose some as season opens

Lemoore’s boys’ water polo team is 1-1 as it heads into a Sept. 1 Fresno Fall Kick-Off Classic. The Lemoore girls dropped their first two contests, an Aug. 23 home match against Kingsburg, 14-1, and a 10-7 loss to Sierra Pacific on Aug. 22.

The Lemoore ladies will attempt to get back on track today (Aug. 25) in the Tulare Union Girls’ Water Polo Tournament.

The boys opened their season at Paso Robles and came away with a 13-11 victory. On Wednesday (Aug. 23) Lemoore fell 14-8 in the Lemoore pool.
