It's hot! Where to go in Lemoore, Kings County to beat the high temperatures

With local temperatures expected to reach 110 degrees by Friday – and remain high into next week, officials with Kings County and the City of Lemoore remind citizens of “cool” places available to the public during regular business hours.

Participating agencies in Kings County include the list below. Please contact the facility to determine hours of availability. There are at least two places in Lemoore offered as “cool places,” including the Lemoore Branch Library and the Lemoore Recreation Center.

Cool Centers are facilities administered by local government in response to the heat. Activation of center and hours of operation are determined by specific heat events and may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Please contact in advance to determine availability.
