Crusaders fall behind early Friday, lose 26-14 to Anzar

Kings Christian High School lost its first game of the season, a 26-14 loss to visiting Anzar High School. The Crusaders hope to rebound with another home game on Friday, this time against Cuyama Valley. At 7 p.m.

Friday’s game is the first of the season for Cuyama. Last week’s opener was canceled against Riverdale Christian.

On Friday, the Anzar Hawks used a 20-point first quarter to outlast the Crusaders. Kings Christian scored a touchdown in the second and six points in the final quarter to account for the final score.
