Tiger volleyball back into the swing of winning, beat Tulare Union in four sets

Lemoore’s varsity volleyball team is back on familiar turf, and it’s paying off. After a respectable 4-3 showing in Las Vegas this past weekend, the Tigers beat visiting Tulare Union 3-1 in the Event Center Tuesday night.

The Tigers improved to 8-3 on the season.

Lemoore won the opening set 25-19 and the second 25-22 before dropping the third set 20-25. The Tigers rebounded with an impressive 25-18 clocking to end the match.

The Tigers hit the road Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. match at Kingsburg High School. The Vikings are playing well, sporting a 4-1 record going into the game.
