Tigers drop second tennis match to powerful Redwood, still in WYL second

Redwood is turning into a real problem for Lemoore’s varsity girls’ tennis team. The Tigers only two West Yosemite losses have been at the hands of the Rangers.

Lemoore is firmly in control of second place.

Monday night’s 8-1 loss dropped Lemoore to 6-2 in league play and 11-4 overall. Lemoore hopes to rebound on Wednesday when the ladies host Mt. Whitney High School at 4 p.m.

“We showed great improvement,” said Tiger Head Coach Carla Bow. “We played the Rangers stronger in the second round.”
