Lemoore's boys' and girls' basketball teams begin their quest again for West Yosemite League glory as the girls host Redwood Friday night and the boys hop a bus for Visalia and a date with the Rangers. Gametime for both games is 7:30 p.m. The girls also host Selma Wednesday night in the Lemoore Event Center.

The boys are coming off somewhat of a disastrous showing in the Atascadero Christmas Tournament where they opened with a 65-55 win over the host Greyhounds and then promptly lost three in a row: Alhambra, 59-41, Torrance, 62-49, and Montclair, 70-53.

Lemoore's boys are 7-6 overall and 1-0 in the WYL. The girls are 2-76 overall and 1-0 in league play.
