Lemoore Police Department detectives, with the help of the Corcoran Police Department, tracked Isaac Gabriel Gaytan, 23, to an apartment in the 2000 block of Whitley Ave. in Corcoran where they arrested him on suspicion of a 2017 Lemoore murder.

He was arrested on Jan. 16.

Gaytan is a suspect in the gang-related homicide of Anthony Andrew Magana. Magana was found stabbed on May 17, 2017 on East Hanford Armona Road. First responders provided live-saving efforts, but he died at the scene.

The Kings County Gang Task Force responded and assisted the Corcoran Police Department by establishing a perimeter around the apartment building.

Gaytan attempted to exit the apartment through the rear window of the building when initial officers arrived. Once the perimeter was secured, Gang Task Force Investigators ordered Gaytan out of the residence, but he refused, finally surrendering after about an hour and was promptly arrested and booked at the Kings County Jail for multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Lemoore detectives identified Gaytan and Jaime Alfredo Macias, 18, as the two suspects responsible for Magana’s death. Macias was located and arrested on May 22, 2017.
