Lemoore’s varsity boys’ soccer team is going to the Central Section playoffs, but the Tigers would like to cap the regular season with a win over Hanford tonight in Hanford. Game time is 6 p.m. Despite its poor record; never underestimate the Bullpups.

They tuned up for their final West Yosemite League match with a convincing 2-0 win over visiting Golden West High School Monday night. Josh Roa, one of the WYL’s leading scorers, tallied both goals to lead his team to its sixth league win.

Lemoore is 6-4-2 in the WYL and 13-7-4 overall. The Bullpups have had their problems this year, compiling an unimpressive 1-10 mark in the WYL and 2-17-1 overall mark.

Lemoore’s girls’ team dropped a 2-1 decision to Golden West to fall to 2-7-2 in the WYL and 10-10-3. Their next match and final match against Hanford will be played tonight in Lemoore.
