Kings deputies seek public's help in identifying Kings Country Club thief

The Kings County Sheriffs Department is looking for a suspect who broke into the Kings Country Club Sunday (Feb. 3) sometime during the late-night hours.

It was on Sunday, February 4, at 6 p.m. that deputies responded to the Kings Country Club (3529 12th Ave., Hanford) regarding a burglary that had occurred sometime overnight and captured on surveillance video.

Deputies learned a lone suspect drove on to the Kings Country Club property at about 9:44 p.m. the night before in a newer model, dark-colored, four-door sedan, possibly a Cadillac STS or similar type vehicle.

Once on the Kings Country Club property, the suspect broke a window to gain entrance into the pro shop. Within 30 seconds, the suspect stole six Taylor Made M1 drivers valued at $500 each, six Taylor Made M2 drivers valued at $400 each, three Scotty Cameron putters valued at $350 each, one Ping G400 driver valued at $400, one Ping G400 wood valued at $400, and three Titleist 917 woods valued at $500 each.

Deputies describe the suspect as a white male adult, approximately 6 feet tall and thin build.

The Kings County Sheriff's Office is actively pursuing this investigation and is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact the Sherriff's Office at 559-852-2720.
