Lemoore’s basketball season came to an end Thursday night at Selma High School where the Bears outlasted the Tigers 75-58 in the Division II quarterfinals. The Tigers gave it all they had, but in the end, they fell a little short.

The Tigers kept it close in the first half, trailing 21-13 at the end of the first period and 40-33 at the half. The Tigers were led in scoring by Sean Patrick’s 22 points. Juelein Arroyo chipped in with 13 while Jaden Jones and Bryce Hernandez each tossed in nine points.

Division II winners Thursday night included the only West Yosemite League school left, Redwood, a 74-50 winner over neighbor El Diamante. Hanford also lost Thursday night, a 57-55 loser to Fresno High School.

Lemoore concluded its season with a 16-12 record. They were 6-6 in the WYL.

Redwood will take on No. 1 seed San Joaquin Memorial Tuesday night in one of the semifinal games. In the other contest, Selma will host No. 10 seed Fresno. The Division III title game will be held March 3 at Selland Arena.
