A Lemoore man was arrested by Lemoore police officers on suspicion of attempting to stab a girlfriend with a knife. The incident occurred Saturday (April 14) at about 3 p.m. around East Bush Street and Madrid Drive.

Officers were in-route when they were advised that the male, Francisco Javier Gutierrez, 32, was attempting to stab the female with a knife. After contacting the victim, she told officers that she was driving with Gutierrez, when he started stabbing her.
