Kings County deputies arrest Rancheria suspect for attempted murder

Kings County deputies arrested a Rancheria man on Sunday, April 22 for attempted murder. The suspect, Patrick Jeff, 32, was arrested at his home by deputies.

Deputies responded to a Tachi Court residence where they found the victim with a gunshot wound to her leg. Deputies immediately provided medical assistance and obtained a statement from the victim.

She told deputies that she was in a physical argument with Jeff’s wife, Lindsey Jeff. After the altercation, Patrick Jeff met the victim in the kitchen where according to deputies he pulled a gun, pushed her to the ground and shot her in the leg.

Patrick and his wife then left the residence.

The victim was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia for additional treatment.

Deputies located Jeff in his home on Saltgrass Court and arrested him. He was determined to be on parole. Deputies also interviewed Lindsey Jeff, and her involvement is still undetermined.

The investigation continues. Deputies recovered evidence at both locations to in included a handgun and spent shell casings.
