The Kings County Sheriff’s Posse on Tuesday had a pair of gifts for Kings County Sheriff Dave Robison as the Posse prepares for its annual crab feed fundraiser June 16 at Hanford’s Burris Park.

Members of the Sheriff's Posse, decked out in traditional garb, presented Robinson with a $5,000 check for a variety of programs, including the Explorers, K9, Air support unit and the Mounted Enforcement Unit.

This recent check is the latest contribution from the Posse. Posse members have contributed nearly $100,000 in the last ten years.

The Posse also presented Robison with a Kings County Sheriff's Office flag. The Posse will carry a duplicate flag in parades in which they routinely participate.  Posse members believe the flag may be a first in the department’s 125 years of existence.

The Posse will be hosting its annual fundraiser Crab Feed at Burris Park on June 16, 2018.   Proceeds from the event are donated to the sheriff's office to support several programs.  For information on the event contact Amy at 559-852-2795.
